On behalf of the Lebanese American University Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the Third International Conference on Medical Education to be held on March 24 & 25, 2017, at the Hilton Metropolitan Hotel in Beirut and the LAU Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury Health Sciences Center in Byblos, Lebanon.

The theme of the conference is Simulation for Education and Patient Safety and its objectives include:

• Addressing current challenges and innovations in Simulation-Based Medical Education
• Promoting interprofessional collaboration practices with the purpose of ensuring patient safety
• Encouraging networking among educators in simulation and health-related professions

This regional conference targets all educators in the health professions, hospital management & quality improvement personnel, biomedical scientists, physicians, residents, medical students, nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists, dentists, insurance companies, and bankers. The conference’s rich program will cover topics such as Simulation & Interprofessional Collaboration, Patient Safety, Art of Debriefing & Feedback, Building a Simulation Center, the Use of Standardized Patients, Hybrid Simulation, Moulage and Makeup and Technology for Simulation. In addition, the program will include hands-on experience through workshops and roundtables led by world-renowned professionals from Australia, Denmark, France, Germany, the United States and other leading countries in medical education. Continuing Education Credits: CME, CNE & CE are offered for this conference.
