Bassam Gerges, MD
Department of Anesthesiology
Dr. Bassem Gerges is an experienced anesthesiologist with special interest in perioperative medicine and non-operating room anesthesia.
He has been practicing at the Lebanese American University Medical Center (formerly Rizk Hospital) since 1988, and has played a major role in the organizational work and development that the Department of Anesthesiology has witnessed over the years. In addition to organizing a streamlined preoperative process, he has been heavily involved in providing anesthesia to war casualties throughout his practice at the hospital.
Along with his clinical work he enjoys resident teaching, and diligently attends all of the department’s educational activities, contributing insightful input.
