Ziad Hubayter, MD, MBA, MPH

Dr. Ziad R. Hubayter is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at LAU Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine and LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital, and he has special expertise in the treatment of infertility including in-vitro fertilization (IVF). After receiving his M.D. degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon in 2001, Dr. Hubayter completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the George Washington University, U.S.A., in 2006. Subsequently, he pursued a three-year fellowship in infertility and reproductive endocrinology at the Johns Hopkins University. After six years of clinical practice in the U.S., he joined LAU’s School of Medicine in 2016. Dr. Hubayter is American Board-certified in both Ob-Gyn and Infertility. He is a member of multiple local and international scientific committees. He is also an active researcher, and his current areas of study include medical education, infertility, and issues related to pregnancy. Dr. Hubayter has authored many scientific publications and book chapters, and he is a journal reviewer. He is also heavily involved in academic teaching and is the Director of the Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at LAU.
