ISND 2019: Middle East Stroke Symposium
It gives me great pleasure to invite you to the 2nd International Symposium on Neurovascular Disorders (ISND) organized and hosted by LAU’s Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine.
The ISND 2019: Middle East Stroke Symposium, which will run from Friday, November 15 to Saturday, November 16 at the Monroe Hotel in Beirut, will delve into the latest guidelines for the early management of patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS).
International, local and regional medical experts, among them specialists from our very own Comprehensive Stroke Center team, will present on and discuss the latest advances in AIS management, treatment and rehabilitation.
The two-day symposium will be divided into five modules and two round-table discussions, covering pre-hospital through to in-hospital management of AIS and thrombectomy, neuro-critical care and cardio-embolic sources in AIS.
It will conclude with a full afternoon session on stroke prevention.
Participants will include radiologists, neurologists, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, neurosurgeons, critical care physicians, nurses, physical therapists and EMS personnel.
CME credits will be offered.
I very much hope you will be able to join us.
