Updates in Internal Medicine

We are pleased to announce the launch of a monthly lecture series dedicated to providing updates in Internal Medicine. This series will cover a range of essential topics, with each session offering in-depth discussions and the latest clinical insights.

Running throughout the year, the lecture series will feature a new topic every month, enabling healthcare professionals to stay informed about the most current approaches to patient care and treatment strategies.

The series will address key areas such as gastrointestinal bleeding; acute kidney injury and renal stones management; gastroenteritis and Clostridium difficile colitis; UTI management; congestive heart failure; atrial fibrillation; diabetic ketoacidosis; community-acquired pneumonia; sarcoidosis; stroke pathway; and pancreatitis, among others.

Each session is carefully designed to foster learning, collaboration, and professional development. These lectures are an excellent opportunity to engage with the latest research, clinical practices, and guidelines, enhancing your expertise in these critical areas of internal medicine.

Participants who attend at least 80% of the lecture series will receive a certificate of acknowledgment. Additionally, participants can earn CME credits from the Lebanese Order of Physicians.

The lecture series is designed for all faculty, residents, and fellows from LAU and other universities, in particular those from schools of medicine.

We invite you to join us for these informative sessions and take part in discussions that will enhance your clinical knowledge and skills. Your participation throughout the year will enrich the learning experience and foster a collaborative academic environment.
