We are thrilled to invite you to attend our symposium titled “Advances in Hair Disorders”, organized by the Department of Dermatology at the Lebanese American University Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine. The event will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital, Auditorium D, and will be accessible online exclusively for international guests.

The field of hair disorders encompasses a wide range of conditions, from common issues such as androgenetic alopecia and alopecia areata to more complex cases like scarring alopecia and hair changes associated with genodermatoses. This symposium aims to provide a comprehensive overview of these conditions, featuring in-depth sessions on diagnostic techniques such as trichoscopy, the latest treatment strategies, and cutting-edge advancements in hair restoration and transplantation.

We are proud to welcome a distinguished group of international and national experts, including our esteemed alumni, who will share their insights on topics such as histopathologic clues in common hair disorders, laser treatments, and the management of pediatric hair conditions.
