Epilepsy Demystified: Updates and Advances
Welcome Message from the Conference Chair
It gives me great pleasure to invite you to our LAU Gilbert & Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine’s first epilepsy meeting, titled Epilepsy Demystified: Updates and Advances, to be held Saturday November 23, 2019 at Le Bristol Hotel, Beirut.
With increased interest and research in the field of epilepsy, rapid advances have been made and novel diagnostic and therapeutic techniques developed to help take care of patients with epilepsy.
The objective of the meeting is to present updates in the diagnosis and management of epilepsy while highlighting these new medications and surgical advances. Our LAU epilepsy team, along with our national colleagues and guest international speakers, that include Drs. Mohamad Mikati, Florian Roser and Athanasios Covanis, will share their expertise through presentations and discussions that offer insights to all healthcare professionals caring for patients with epilepsy.
Registration is free. Since space is limited, kindly register by November 8, 2019.
For further information, please contact the Continuing Medical Education & Professional Development office at 01-200800, ext. 5830 or by email at cmeoffice@lau.edu.lb.
We look forward to your participation.
Best regards,
