We are delighted to invite you to attend our hybrid symposium titled “Rheumatologic Dermatology” which will be held for the first time in Lebanon. This symposium is organized by the Department of Dermatology at the Lebanese American University Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine and will take place on May 9, 2024, from 4 to 7:30 pm, online and at the LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital.  

As you know, the relationship between the joints and the skin is profoundly intricate, characterized by shared pathophysiological mechanisms and overlapping treatment approaches. This activity offers a comprehensive exploration of dermatological signs associated with rheumatologic diseases. It will allow the participants to gain expertise in diagnosis and management of these conditions, and learn the latest evidence-based management strategies, ensuring optimal patient care.

We are honored to host renowned international and national speakers at our conference.  Our international guest speakers include Abrar A. Qureshi, MD, MPH, who is a Professor and Chair of Dermatology at Brown University, and Anthony M. Reginato, MD, PhD, a distinguished rheumatologist serving as an Associate Professor of Dermatology and Medicine at Brown University.

The target audience for this activity include all dermatologists, rheumatologists, internal medicine, radiology, and family medicine physicians as well as general practitioners, residents, fellows, and medical students.
