Human Genetics Webinar 2021

Genetics: Beyond Mendel’s Laws

Wednesday, December 1, 2021
(From 17:00 to 18:30, time zone UTC+2)

Welcome Message

Dear colleagues,

We invite you to participate in this webinar to help focus your skills and deepen your understanding on the latest concepts in genetics. The importance of the interaction between genetics, the environment and epigenetics will be emphasized by two internationally recognized speakers. The first speaker, Pr. Jacques Beckmann will address the current knowledge related to the microbiota which unlike our genome manifests great dynamic plasticity and complexity, and plays an essential role in disease and genetic traits. The second speaker, Pr. Claudine Junien will tackle the latest findings related to the genetic/epigenetic differences influencing COVID-19 and other diseases in men and women. Gender-linked differences with their genetic and epigenetic basis as well as hormonal basis will be discussed.

This webinar is endorsed by the Center for Arab Genomics Studies (CAGS, UAE).

We look forward to your participation, click here to register for free.
