Third Clinical Simulation Diploma 2018

We are happy to inform you that the Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine and the LAU Clinical Simulation Center are offering a Diploma in Clinical Simulation to educators who wish to develop specialized knowledge, skills and understanding of simulation as a modality to support the teaching and assessment of Health Sciences students.

This Diploma is in collaboration with the National Health Education and Training in Simulation (NHET-Sim), Australia. The Diploma is presented as several modules delivered by local and international experts using a blended approach with online and face-to-face learning at the LAU Clinical Simulation Center, Chagoury Health Sciences Center, LAU Byblos Campus. The modules dates are:

April 26, 27 & 28
June 7, 8 & 9
July 12

In May 2014, the LAU-CSC was awarded certification as an American Heart Association-International Training Center (AHA-ITC). And, the LAU-CSC received accreditation by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada from January 1, 2018 until December 31, 2020. These achievements reflect the center’s ability to provide simulation-based activities modeled on the highest administrative, educational and ethical standards.
