Elective Applications

Eligibility Criteria

All elective applicants to the GME programs should hold a Medical Diploma granted by an institution that is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and acknowledged by the Lebanese Ministry of Higher Education.

Application Process

GME elective applications are posted on MyEvaluations platform. Interested candidates should send an email to the below respective program coordinators, mentioning in the email the date of birth (dd/mm/yy), the fathers’ name, the department/division and the requested start/end date of the elective rotation. Accordingly the program coordinator will check for available spots. Candidates will receive an email from the platform including the credentials to access the platform within 2-3 working days.

Requirements for Admissions

GME Elective Applicants are required to submit on MyEvaluations platform:

1. GME elective application 
2. A photocopy of the applicant’s valid identity card or passport
3. Curriculum Vitae (CV) prepared within three months of the application date
4. Personal Statement describing applicant’s interest in the elective program
5. Certified copy of the Medical Degree (MD)
6. Certified copy of the medical school transcript of record
7. A letter of good standing provided by the program director of the training site or the medical school
8. Two recent, passport-sized, color photographs of the applicant
9. Immunization record
10. Judicial record

Any document not printed in English must be accompanied by an acceptable original English translation performed by a qualified translator and certified by proper authorities.

Note: When uploading the above documents on the MyEvaluations platform, you must rename the file you upload with the following format: “First Name, Family Name- name of the required document”

Payment

The submission fee of the GME Elective Application is 75 USD which serves from 1 week to 1 month of elective rotation in 1 program. Each extra month of elective rotation in the same program is 25 USD. In case the applicant would like to change program after completion of 1 month  of elective rotation, he/she should submit a new application form.

The above-listed fees are payable via bank transfer. 

• DONOT FORGET to mention at the Bank, when making the money transfer, to include on the invoice your name/GME elective applicant together with your ID number.
