Elective Applications

Requirements for Admissions

GME Elective Applicants are required to submit:

1. GME Elective Application
2. A photocopy of the applicant’s valid identity card or passport
3. Curriculum Vitae (CV) prepared within three months of the application date
4. Personal Statement describing applicant’s interest in the elective program
5. Certified copy of the Medical Degree (MD)
6. Certified copy of the medical school transcript of record
7. A letter of good standing provided by the program director of the training site or the medical school
8. Two recent, passport-sized, color photographs of the applicant
9. Immunization record
10. Judicial record

Any document not printed in English must be accompanied by an acceptable original English translation performed by a qualified translator and certified by proper authorities.

The submission fee of the GME Elective Application is 75 USD which serves from 1 week to 1 month of elective rotation in 1 program. Each extra month of elective rotation in the same program is 25 USD. In case the applicant would like to change program after completion of 1 month  of elective rotation, he/she should submit a new application form.

The above-listed fees are payable via bank transfer.

Applications together with the required documents should be submitted to the GME Office located in the Sarraf Building, second floor, Achrafieh, near the LAU Medical Center at Rizk Hospital.

GME Elective Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, throughout the year.
