Alfred Khoury, MD

Dr. Alfred Khoury embarked on a career in medicine with a goal of specializing in Sports Medicine. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgical procedures for athletes, particularly in the arthroscopic management of knee injuries. Dr. Khoury has spent a substantial amount of time working with athletes, including traveling with national teams across various sporting disciplines. The primary focus of his work is to help young, healthy athletes return to their previous levels of play after injury, especially professional athletes whose livelihoods depend on optimal physical function.

Dr. Khoury has been an invited speaker at numerous scientific meetings dedicated to Sports Medicine, where he has shared his experiences and presented results from his surgical management of sports injuries. In addition to maintaining a busy clinical practice, Dr. Khoury is actively involved in teaching at LAU Medical Center - Rizk Hospital, training residents in arthroscopic techniques and the treatment of sports-related musculoskeletal injuries. He also teaches students pursuing a Master’s degree in Sports Rehabilitation at two universities in Lebanon.
