Georges Yared, MD, MHM, PhD

Division Head, General Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Yared has a broad range of expertise based on extensive education and experience in scholarly, pedagogic, and administrative fields, including simulation-based medical education, healthcare management, and risk management. During his career, Dr. Yared has been awarded several national and international diplomas and certifications. He has been involved with the Lebanese Order of Physicians, Ministry of Social Affairs and Ministry of Public Health. In addition, he is a member of several Lebanese national and international committees related to simulation, scientific advancement, quality management and accreditation.

Dr. Yared is the President-Elect of the Lebanese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (LSOG). He holds a Master’s in Healthcare Quality Management and has earned a PhD in Quantum Leadership in Public Health, focusing on innovative approaches to healthcare leadership. As Director of the Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) program, he has improved emergency obstetric care through advanced training and simulation. His work spans education, healthcare management, and leadership, making a significant impact on national and international healthcare standards.
