Dr. Jocelyn Eid Fares received her MD degree in 1996 and completed a fellowship program in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the American University of Beirut Medical Center in 2002. She then joined the research program at the American University of Beirut Medical Center for two years. In 2004, she earned a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from the American University of Beirut.

She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism at the LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital and serves as the Clerkship Director for 3rd and 4th-year medical students at the LAU School of Medicine. Dr. Fares has published research on diabetes complications and calcium and bone metabolism.
