Philips Power Tetrodes
Ref. M10
Power tetrodes are often used in control units of imaging equipment aither as oscillators or modulators or power amplifiers.
The upper tube, the Philips F1000, comes from a CT scanner control unit. Its properties could not be obtained. But it is certainly a high output tube, while its function in the control unit is not clear.
The tube to the left, the Philips QE08/200, dating to the seventies, was widely used in amateur radio equipment, mostly in pairs as in the high frequency power output stage, delivering something in the range of 200-300 Watts. It was removed from an old Philips control unit.
