“Waite” Kenotron

This 14” (35 cm) long, oil-immersed kenotron, probably dates back to the mid or late thirties. It was wade by the Waite Manufacturing Division of the PICKER Company in Cleveland, who, after the Great Depression of the early thirties, took over the Waite and Bartlett Manufacturing Company, founded in 1879.
It has strongly discoloured glass and a broken filament.
