Osram Ballast Bulbs

These are three of four bulbs removed from an old Siemens X-ray control unit of the early fifties. They look like diodes, and used to glow orange-red during exposures.

Most likely they are protection ballast bulbs in the exposure control circuit. 

No specifications are actually available other than those on the metal lamp base and on the paper sticker.
