Russian Image Dissector

This totally opaque, Russian made, sober looking tube, 7”(17.5 cm) long tube dates to the late eighties. It is of the Ïmage Dissector” type, initially invented by the American Philo Farnsworth in the late twenties of last century. It needs very strong lighting, and presently its use is mainly industrial.
