AI-powered tools and technologies are poised to reshape the practice of medicine in the 21st century. In this conference, the speakers will explore the importance of integrating AI applications into medical schools in learning, instruction and assessment. Also, the concerns and misconceptions that surround its use, as well as the ethical and safety challenges will be addressed. This conference will be held onsite at the LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital Auditorium and online via WebEx.
International and National renowned speakers will join us. Guest speaker Dr. John (Jack) R. Boulet will discuss new trends in assessment. He will be joined by Dean Sola Aoun Bahous who will present an overview of the present and future of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Education. And, Dr. Barbar Akle who will tackle the safety, ethics and integration of AI into Medical Education.
The target audience for this activity include all healthcare professionals, physicians, faculty, medical students, residents and staff. The invitation will also be extended to the Lebanese Order of Nursing, Lebanese Order of Pharmacy and Lebanese Order of Physicians. We also welcome the general public and those who are interested to learn more about this topic.
