Dr. Samar Abbas is a highly accomplished neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist, holding dual Lebanese and Colombian nationalities. Born on June 16, 1987, in Cali, Colombia, she pursued her medical education at Saint Joseph University, Beirut, where she earned her Doctorate in General Medicine in 2012. She further specialized in neurology and clinical neurophysiology, completing advanced training at Henri Mondor University Hospital, France. Dr. Abbas currently practices at several renowned medical institutions in Beirut, including Hôtel Dieu de France University Hospital, Bellevue Medical Center, and Middle East University Hospital. Her clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of neurophysiological techniques, such as electromyography (EMG), evoked potentials, electroencephalography (EEG), and perioperative neuromonitoring. She is also proficient in pediatric neurophysiological diagnostics. Dr. Abbas contributed significantly to the field through research, international conference presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.
