Elie Saliba, MD

Dr. Elie Saliba is a dermatologist specializing in dermatopathology and rheumatologic dermatology. He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the LAU Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine and is the Director of the Residency Program in Dermatology. Dr. Saliba completed two highly competitive subspecialty fellowships n the United States. The first was a Dermatopathology Fellowship at Boston University, where he received extensive training in the histopathologic diagnosis of complex skin disorders. The second was a Fellowship in Rheumatologic Dermatology and Immunodermatology at Brown University, where he gained advanced expertise in connective tissue diseases and autoimmune skin conditions. Dr. Saliba has a strong interest in connective tissue diseases, hair and scalp disorders, and diagnostic dermatopathology. He is a recipient of multiple academic scholarships and several prestigious awards, has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and scientific abstracts. He has also presented his work at numerous national and international dermatology conferences.
