Dr. Ghassan Haddad is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the LAU Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine and LAU Medical Center–Rizk Hospital. He completed his M.D. degree at the American University of Beirut (AUB) in 2015, followed by a five-year residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at AUB Medical Center. He then pursued a two-year fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology and Airway Surgery at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A.
Dr. Haddad is a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist whose clinical expertise spans pediatric airway disorders, tracheostomy management, and complex pediatric ENT procedures. His broader practice also includes general otolaryngology for all ages, endoscopic rhinology, otology, and cochlear implantation. He provides pediatric otolaryngology services at LAU Medical Center–Rizk Hospital and several other hospitals across Lebanon.
Dedicated to advancing the field, Dr. Haddad completed a year of focused research that led to multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Voice. Notably, he was part of the pioneering team that successfully 3D-printed human vocal cords for the first time.
In addition to his clinical and research activities, Dr. Haddad is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents at LAU. He is a member of several national and international professional societies, including the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology and the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
