Dr. Pierre Khalifeh is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Lebanese American University School of Medicine and an ER Physician at LAU Medical Center-Saint John’s Hospital in Jounieh, Lebanon. He has over two decades of experience in emergency medicine and general surgery, having previously served as the Chief of the Emergency Department at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center. Dr. Khalifeh holds a diploma in General Surgery from St. Joseph University in Beirut and a specialty Diploma in Emergency Medicine from Rouen University in France. He also earned an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Balamand. Dr. Khalifeh is an instructor in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and has coordinated advanced trauma courses with the Lebanese European Academy for Emergency Medicine (LEAEM). Dr. Khalifeh is committed to excellence in medicine, always seeking high quality in all his activities. He strives to foster production in a constructive way while being proactive and forward-thinking in his approach. His active involvement in medical education, and community service is a testament to his dedication to healthcare advancement. He is a member of the Lebanese Society of Emergency Medicine and is currently conducting research on topics such as trauma management and smoking behavior.
