Eureka EV-6-12

Ref. G8

This tube has a high voltage rectifier valve and dates back to the sixties or early seventies of the twentieth century.

It is 10.5” (26.5 cm) long with its largest diameter at 2.25” (6 cm).

Note the double filament, at a right angle to the axe of the valve, passing through a metal loop connected to one side of the filaments (see X-ray pictures).

The filament voltage is selectable during installation, 6 or 12 volts, by the use of “jumpers” in the holes provided in the tube base.

Note the small rectangular gettering metal frame connected to the anode cylinder, inside the glass wall near the anode end of the valve.
