Clinical Research
The clinical faculty at the LAU Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine bring a wealth and diversity of expertise to their practices. With the growing culture of research at our medical centers, these physicians are seizing the opportunity to improve standards of care and outcomes for their patients, through the advancement of medical knowledge. A large number of new and ongoing research studies - both Primary Investigator-initiated and multi-centric - have augmented LAU’s contribution to clinical research in a variety of fields. The school of medicine and its Office of Research aim to support investigators and their teams by helping them address the challenges inherent in research, and by promoting their engagement in clinical projects. Moreover, we seek to educate patients about research and provide them with the opportunity to participate in research studies, all within a safe and caring environment.
