Dear colleagues,

It is a pleasure to welcome you to our webinar, organized by the faculty of the LAU Clinical Simulation Center and the Interprofessional Education Program.

Safety in healthcare is a constantly moving target. As standards improve, contexts change, and concern for safety grows. This in turn offers new opportunities for the design of an experiential, interactive, humanistic and innovative medical simulation training.

This is an exciting time for simulation education in which interprofessional team collaboration has become the key to improving outcomes and increasing quality of care. Through the webinar theme, “Simulating Together: The Road to Safer Care”, we will explore the complexities of simulation in healthcare, focusing on the human connection that is often undervalued.

We also look forward with enthusiasm to bringing internationally renowned professionals in this forum to reflect on the ways simulation programs around the globe have responded to the pandemic in inspiring and innovative ways.

We thank the unwavering support of the Society for Simulation in Europe (SESAM) and the Lebanese Society for Quality & Safety in Healthcare (LSQSH) who endorsed and supported our webinar.

Applications have been made to the Lebanese Orders of Nurses, Pharmacists and Physicians to provide credits.

We look forward to your participation, click here to register for free.
